The Stamford Transportation Center consists of a commuter rail terminal and an 812-car parking garage both connected by a pedestrian bridge. The rail terminal is made up of two cast-in-place concrete towers with heavy steel trusses over the railroad tracks.
The project was designed by the renowned architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. Construction of this project was carried out without shutting down the train service.
Other projects completed include the Stamford Rail Yard Facility.
